Special Springs North America
Special Springs, LLC is a subsidiary of Special Springs S.R.L., which operates R&D and manufacturing facilities in our Headquarters of Romano D’Ezzelino, Northern Italy.
Special Springs, LLC is known as the North American Branch. Conveniently located in Southeast Michigan to serve customers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This Service, Sales, and distribution facility stocks hundreds of thousands of nitrogen gas and die springs for immediate delivery throughout North America.
Our customers include industrial manufacturers – automotive, appliance, agriculture, heavy equipment, tool & die builders, metal stampers, mold builders, machine builders, die spring distributors and anywhere spring force is needed.
Company History
Established in 1978 to produce wire springs, Special Springs became, in just a few years, the first global company in the sector to offer 3 different standards of Die Springs: ISO 10243, JIS B5012 and US Oval Wire. Nitrogen gas spring production began in the late 1980s as a natural complement to our wire springs. Special Springs Italy currently operates facilities assigned specifically to wire springs and nitrogen cylinders, with a total production area of more than 200,000 sq ft.
Special Springs, LLC North America was established in the fall of 2011. Setting up shop in Wixom, Michigan to provide better service to our existing North American clients. Since then, our North American operation has grown by leaps and bounds.
We are now located in Canton, Michigan, in an ultramodern, ultraclean, highly efficient location that includes office space for our North American headquarters, as well as more than 12,000 square feet of inventory. Our staff is committed to helping die and nitrogen gas spring users sleep easy at night by knowing, if they use Special Springs, they are using the best.
