Special Springs, LLC is a subsidiary of Special Springs S.R.L., which operates R&D and manufacturing facilities in the province of Romano D’Ezzelino in Northern Italy. Our Southeastern Michigan headquarters serves customers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This distribution facility stocks hundreds of thousands of nitrogen gas and die springs for immediate delivery throughout North America.
Our customers include industrial manufacturers – automotive and plastic injection molding, tool & die builders, metal stampers, and die spring distributors.
Established in 1978 to produce wire die springs, Special Springs became, in just a few years, the first global company in the sector to offer 3 different standards: ISO 10243, JIS B5012 and US Oval Wire. Nitrogen gas spring production began in the late 1980s as a natural complement to our wire springs. Special Springs Italy currently operates facilities assigned specifically to wire springs and nitrogen cylinders, with a total production area of more than 100,000 sq ft.
Special Springs, LLC North America was established in the fall of 2011, setting up shop in Wixom, Michigan to provide better service to our existing North American clients. Since then, our North American operation has grown by leaps and bounds. We are now located in Canton, Michigan, in an ultramodern, ultraclean, highly efficient location that includes office space for our North American headquarters, as well as more than 12,000 square feet of inventory. Our staff has grown to more than half a dozen smart, sharp, professionals eager to help die and nitrogen gas spring users sleep easy at night by knowing, if they use Special Springs, they are using the best.
