The Benefits of USAS in Your Nitrogen Gas Springs
Uncontrolled Speed Active Safety features are designed to protect against potential misuse of a gas springs. USAS is the combination of an extended bushing with a unique system positioned at the ceiling surface of the body bushing seal.
Under correct operating conditions, the safety device is not activated. If uncontrolled return strokes repeat, however, the USAS safety device is activated, releasing gas pressure in a controlled mode. This avoids rapid ejection of parts and greatly reduces the risks posed by failure in a nitrogen gas spring to users.
